Biographical Sketch

Vivek Srivastava is a Ph.D. student in the Bradley Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Virginia Tech. He expects to complete his Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering in 2007. His research focuses on the application of game theory to wireless ad hoc networks. His advisor is Dr. Luiz DaSilva.

Vivek received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech in May 2003 and his B.E. in Electronics from V. J. Technological Institute (V.J.T.I.), University of Mumbai, India, in May 2000. He is a student member of the IEEE and the IEEE Communications Society.

Vivek is currently working as a graduate research assistant on an Office of Naval Research (ONR) funded project that deals with the application of game theoretic principles for radio resource management in wireless ad hoc networks. Vivek's hobbies include "playing" with wireless devices,reading short stories and watching Bollywood movies.
