Kaustubh received his M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech in December 2000 and his B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunications from Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Techonolgy (VESIT), University of Mumbai, India, in May 1998. He is a student member of the IEEE, IEEE Communications Society, and American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE).
Kaustubh has held summer jobs at Telecommunications Techniques Corporation (TTC) and ECI Telecom. During his Ph.D. studies, he served as a GRA on the Navy Collaborative Integrated Information Technology Initiative (NAVCIITI) project funded by the Office of Naval Research.
