Biographical Sketch

Tao Lin is presently working for Packet Hop Networks in California. He was a post-doctoral fellow at McMaster University, Canada from April 2004-April 2005. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech in March 2004. His Ph.D. dissertation was on "Mobile Ad-hoc Network Routing Protocols: Methodologies and Applications" (available online). Tao's research was supported by the Office of Naval Research through the Navy Collaborative Integrated Information Technology Initiative (NAVCIITI). His advisor was Dr. Scott F. Midkiff.

Tao received his M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Hawaii at Manoa in December 1999 and his B.S. in Automation from Tsinghua University (P.R.China) in August 1998.
