Biographical Sketch

Chris Knestrick completed his M.S. degree in May 2004 and now works for Microsoft. Chris's M.S. thesis was on "Lunar: A User-Level Stack Library for Network Emulation" (available online). This research entailed building a user-level library out of the Linux TCP/IP stack that can be used in network simulation. His advisor was Dr. Srinidhi Varadarajan.

Chris received a B.S. in Aerospace (with a Computer Science minor) from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) in December 1997. Prior to coming to graduate school, he worked in the Information Systems department at the Winchester Medical Center integrating departmental systems with the main hospital computer.
