Michelle Gong
Trainee (2002-2005)
|
Her Ph.D. dissertation was on "Improving the Capacity of Wireless Ad Hoc Networks through Multiple Channel Operation: Design Principles and Protocols" (available online).
Michelle received her M.S.E.E. degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2000 and her B.S.E.E. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering at Wuhan University, China, in 1996. She also studied in the master's program in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Wuhan University. Prior to pursuing her Ph.D., Michelle worked as a system engineer at LinkAir, a Silicon Valley startup company, designing a 3G cellular network. Her hobbies include hiking, scuba diving, sailing, skiing, and many other sports.
