Biographical Sketch

Otis Farmer is completing his M.S. in Electrical Engineering at Virginia Tech while working full-time in Maryland. He expects to complete his M.S. degree in 207. His research focuses on Broadband Wireless Access. His advisor is Dr. Scott F. Midkiff.

Otis received his B.S.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in December 1996. He is a member of the IEEE.

Prior to pursuing his Ph.D., Otis worked as an Electrical Engineer for five years at PPM in Knoxville, Tennessee. His hobbies include hiking and caving.
