Biographical Sketch

Jin-Hee Cho is a Ph.D student in the Department of Computer Science at Virginia Tech. She joined Virginia Tech in Fall 2004. She expects to complete her Ph.D degree in Computer Science in Fall 2007. Her research focuses on developing reliable and secure group communication key management algorithms for wireless mobile ad hoc and sensor networks. Her advisor is Dr. Ing-Ray Chen.

Jin-Hee Cho received her B.A from Ewha Womans University in Seoul, Korea in 1997 and the M.A from Washington University in St. Louis, MO in 1999. Jin-Hee Cho also received her M.S. in Computer Science at Virginia Tech in Summer 2004. Her Master's thesis is on "Design, implementation, and Analysis of Wireless Ad Hoc Messenger." This research used Microsoft's .NET Compact Framework and PocketPC devices and was funded by a grant from Microsoft Research.

She is always kept being busy by her husband and her baby boy. Also, her hobbies are swimming, running, skiing, and playing with her son.
